Creating space for soul expression, heart healing, and reconnection to the wisdom of the body.
Conscious Dance Facilitator
Jenna Keiper
“Once your body surrenders to movement, your soul remembers its dance.”
I experience conscious movement as a profound gift for both personal transformation and community healing. My own journey began in private therapy sessions and grew into the community practice spaces of 5 Rhythms and Open Floor, eventually calling me to facilitate for others. I studied facilitation techniques with Dance the Medicine and draw on over 20 years as a professional dancer and teacher, with experience spanning commercial work (ABC/Disney) to concert dance (EscapeArtistsLA). My work centers on empowering people to reconnect to their bodies, explore movement’s possibilities, and discover the healing power of authentic expression.
Hi, I’m Jenna.
Conscious Container
I shape each session to meet its setting - whether a retreat, a campus, or a festival - so the dance belongs to the moment and those within it.
I’ve held conscious containers for:
movement newbies
professional dancers
spiritual/religious, deconstructing, & post-religious folks
No steps to learn.
No experience required.
All bodies welcome.
What to Expect
-
Opening prompts to encourage connection to the body and gentle movement exploration.
-
A music journey that rises, peaks and settles again with guided prompts for deeper embodiment.
-
Quiet closing space with grounding and integration prompts.
